CRESCENT

Crescent (Salt Lake) is a small settlement on US-91, three miles south of Sandy City. It was an early outgrowth of nearby Draper and was named by Nils August Nilson. Nilson's selection of the name was influenced by the crescent curve in the Wasatch Mountains.
