CUB RIVER

*Cub River (Cache) is a tributary of the Bear River. Fed by a number of springs in the mountains of southern Idaho it flows south into Utah, northeast of Lewiston, where it enters the Bear River. When Brigham Young was crossing the Bear River near this section, he named the smaller river the Cub River.
