PRICE RIVER *Price River (Carbon) originates at Scofield Reservoir and drains southeast into the Green River at Gray Canyon. It had an early name of White River but was changed in 1865 when William Price, a Mormon bishop in Goshen, explored the region and renamed it. John W. Van Cott |
