STRAWBERRY RIVER *Strawberry River (Duchesne/Wasatch) originates three miles southeast of Heber and drains into Strawberry Reservoir and east into the Duchesne River. The members of the Dominguez and Escalante expedition named it the El rio de Santa Catarina de Sena, then Fremont called it the Uintah River before the name was changed to the Strawberry River.
