CLINTON

Clinton is one mile west of Sunset and two miles southwest of Roy on U-37. During the 1870s, James Hill and his family settled this small village that was named by Joseph D. Burnett. Today the residences are dispersed and there is no central business area. Earlier Names were The Range, Sand Ridge's, The Basin, and The Summit.
