ZANE

Zane (Iron) was a siding on the Union Pacific Railroad, five miles northeast of Beryl. The settlement was named for Zane Grey, the noted western author. Southern Utah was the setting for many of Grey's novels as he traveled extensively throughout these isolated regions.
